FAQs

Everything you might be wondering.

Where and when is the wedding?
Saturday, June 5, 2027. The ceremony is at 4:00 in the afternoon at Parroquia Santa María Estrella del Mar, in Playas de Tijuana. The reception follows at La Candelaria.
What time should I get there?
A little before 4:00 gives you time to park and take a seat before the ceremony begins.
What time does the night end?
We are planning for it to run until about 2:00 in the morning. That is not locked in yet, and we will confirm it here.
How do I get from the ceremony to the reception?
They are two different addresses, about thirty minutes apart by car. The map on the home page opens the route in Google Maps, and you can tap either address there to copy it.See the map
We are coming from San Diego. How do we cross?
We are working on a shuttle. The plan is to pick guests up at a parking lot on the San Diego side, take you to your hotel, and carry you to the church, to the reception, and back the next day. It is not confirmed yet. The details will go here as soon as it is.
Where should we stay?
There are plenty of hotels and Airbnbs nearby, and Zona Río is the area we would point you to. We are still putting a proper list together and it will go here.
Where do we park?
There is valet at the reception.
What is the dress code?
Formal. One request for the women: no white and no black. White is the bride's that day, and black belongs at a different kind of event. Wear color, the brighter the better. The reception is indoors with a patio off it, and the patio is artificial grass, so heels are not a problem.
How do I RSVP?
Your invitation has a four character code. Enter it on the RSVP page, or search by your name if you cannot find the code. If your plans change, come back and change your answer.Go to RSVP
Can I bring a guest?
The RSVP page shows exactly who we have a seat saved for. If something looks wrong there, tell us and we will sort it out.Check your invitation
Are children invited?
Yes, for anyone ten and older. Tell us their names when you RSVP so we can seat and feed them properly. The ceremony and the speeches are the quiet parts of the night, so we'd just ask you keep an ear out during those.
Is there a registry?
Yes. There are two ways to give: something for the house, or something toward the honeymoon. Both are on the registry page.Open the registry
Is the site in Spanish?
Yes. The language button at the top of any page switches between English and Spanish.
